Reporting and Elevating Employee Concerns

Acting with dignity and respect is central to our core values and calls on G4S to be a company with zero tolerance for unethical behavior.

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. (G4S) is committed to the highest standards of business ethics and conduct, including treating all employees with dignity and respect. This is a reminder that in accordance with company policy, all employees must report concerns about improper conduct to G4S management. Our front-line employees are our eyes and ears on the ground. Thus, it is imperative that if you see or suspect unethical or illegal behavior in connection with your work that you report it immediately through the appropriate channels. This helps ensure that G4S has the information it needs to protect the security of our customers and our employees.

What to Report

Employees are encouraged to raise any concerns related to their employment and are  expected to immediately report the following conduct related to their work:

  • Workplace violence
  • Theft
  • Fraud
  • Misuse of client or company property or information
  • Falsified reports or documents
  • Improper gifts, to or from a customer
  • Accounting irregularities
  • Unaddressed safety issues
  • Any illegal or unethical behavior

    How to Report

G4S management at the local level has an open-door policy, and employees are encouraged to bring their concerns to their chain of command. G4S leadership is there to listen to concerns and help address and resolve any issues in the workplace. Supervisors and managers at G4S are held responsible for the fair and ethical treatment of the individuals who report to them. If you have a concern or request, your first point of contact should be your immediate supervisor, who is the first person in your chain-of-command. The next person is his or her manager, etc.  This also ensures that your supervisor is in a position to elevate reports of such misconduct to upper management and the company’s compliance department, who will make sure these issues are appropriately addressed.

If the concern relates to your immediate supervisor, or someone else in your chain-of-command, and you are not comfortable discussing the matter with him or her, you should go to the next higher level in your chain-of command to report the issue.

If you believe that an issue you have raised is not being brought to resolution, you are encouraged to escalate beyond your direct supervisor. For example, you may bring these concerns to your District Manager, Market Leader or HR representative. If you don’t know how to contact a local office, please view the list of office numbers on our Website here. In addition, you can raise concerns to the Safety Director or VP of Human Resources for your region. Your local HR team can put you in contact with them directly.

Additionally, G4S has established a robust program for employees to raise concerns that includes a confidential employee reporting hotline. The hotline provides an additional confidential reporting mechanism for all employees to report concerns of a sensitive nature or that cannot be resolved at the local level. The report can be made anonymously if the employee chooses. The G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Employee Concerns Hotline is 1-800-307-9005 or

Each employee in the organization has a responsibility to speak up if they see behavior that doesn’t seem right. If you see something, say something. Acting with dignity and respect is central to our core values and calls on G4S to be a company with zero tolerance for unethical behavior. Please help us keep that commitment to our organization and to our customers.

Thank you for your support in this important matter.
